As part of ‘Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) conducted e-Government 4th In-country Training at Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN) in Nigeria, from January 23rd to February 17th in 2017, with Korean experts in the fields of e-Government.

 

For the 4th In-country Training, Federal Ministry of Communications (FMC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) actively cooperated with KOICA Nigeria office in conducting the training programme including five different courses of Executive I, Executive II, e-Security, Professional and Train the Trainers.

 

148 Nigerian policy-makers and executives in the e-Government sector participated in the 4th In-country Training with high interests. Also, in the training, there were plenty of questions, answers and debates about the immediate application and implementation of the suggested e-Government system to Nigeria.

 

The 4th In-country Training of this programme consists of five different courses(Excutive Ⅰ, Excutive  Ⅱ, Professional, e-Security, Train the Trainers) and will be offered at eight times by 2017. The next training will be conducted from July through August, 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria.


** Korea Institute for Developing Strategy(KDS) is conducting the ‘2013-2018 Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’ which was ordered by KOICA with the purpose of improving efficiency and transparency of public administration service in Nigeria on a budget of 8.56 million USD.
