As part of ‘Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) conducted e-Government 5th In-country Training at Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN) in Nigeria, from July 17th to August 11th in 2017, with Korean experts in the fields of e-Government.


For the 5th In-country Training, Federal Ministry of Communications (FMC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) actively cooperated with KOICA Nigeria office in conducting the training programme including five different courses of Executive I, Executive II, e-Security, Professional.


181 Nigerian policy-makers and executives in the e-Government sector participated in the 5th In-country Training with high interests. Also, in the training, there were plenty of questions, answers and debates about the immediate application and implementation of the suggested e-Government system to Nigeria.


The 5th In-country Training of this programme consists of five different courses (Executive I, Executive II, Professional, e-Security, Train the Trainers) and will be offered at eight times by 2018. The next training will be conducted from January through February, 2018 in Abuja, Nigeria.** Korea Institute for Developing Strategy(KDS) is conducting the ‘2013-2018 Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’ which was ordered by KOICA with the purpose of improving efficiency and transparency of public administration service in Nigeria on a budget of 8.56 million USD.
