As part of ‘Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) conducted 2nd e-Government Project Planning & Development(PPD) Course in-Country training at Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN) in Nigeria, from September 19th to September 28th in 2017, with Korean experts in the fields of e-Government.


For the 2nd PPD training, Federal Ministry of Communications (FMC) and Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) actively cooperated with KOICA Nigeria office in conducting the training programme including four different themes.(BPR/ISP, e-Government Project Development, SW Development Methodology and Change Management & IT Service Management)


The 2nd PPD training was progressed for participants who wanted to enhance the capacities of Project Planning, BPR/ISP, SW Development Methodology and Change & IT Service Management.34 officials who use application systems dealing with the affairs of civil services of all MDAs participated in the 2nd PPD training with high interests for practical application and implementation of the e-Government systems.


The 2nd training of this programme consists of four different themes (BPR/ISP, e-Government Project Development, SW Development Methodology and Change Management & IT Service Management) and will be offered at 4 times by 2018. The next training will be conducted from April through May, 2018 in Abuja, Nigeria.


** Korea Institute for Developing Strategy(KDS) is conducting the ‘2013-2018 Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’ which was ordered by KOICA with the purpose of improving efficiency and transparency of public administration service in Nigeria on a budget of 8.56 million USD.
