As part of ‘Capacity Building Program for e-Government in Nigeria’, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) conducted e-Government Pilot Training at e-Government Training Center(ETC) located in the Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN) in Abuja, from November 4th to 13th in 2019.

 

16 local lecturers and 4 local operators fostered by the Project conducted the Pilot Training. For this training, the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy(FMCDE), the National Information Technology Development Agency(NITDA) and the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) actively cooperated with the KOICA Nigeria office. And additional 3 courses (Executive I, Executive II, Professional) were offered to the different target group of officers.

 

 

A total of 84 Nigerian policy-makers, executives, and working level officials in the e-Government sector participated in the Pilot Training with high interests.

 

 

With the completion of the Pilot Training, the ‘Capacity Building Program for e-Government in Nigeria’, which has been carried out since 2013, has been successfully implemented and terminated.
