We are very delighted to announce that KDS has published the Knowledge Sharing Series as a part of the KSP-MDB(Knowledge Sharing Program with Multinational Development Banks) sponsored by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance(MOSF) in collaboration with the Korea Eximbank and the UNESCAP-APCICT(United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific - Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development). The Ministry of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea launched this KSP project in 2011, where previous KSP projects evolved into this KSP-MDB project. In preparing for this publication we held a regional workshop entitled The Second Asia-Pacific Regional Forum on ICT Human Capacity Development : ‘Where are we, Where are we going and What will it take to fill the gap?’ from 24-28 October, 2011, at Incheon and Cheonan, Republic of Korea. We saw 48 participants from 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region join the workshop. Also, a CoP (Community of Practice), or online community webpage, has been created to allow easy worldwide access to knowledge sharing. Two lectures has been initially uploaded; ICT for Development and Cybersecurity, respectively. We are in the process of mailing out these two English Publication; KSS Issue I: ICT for Development and KSS Issue II: Cybersecurity to all developing countries located in the Asia-Pacific region in order to provide guidelines for developing countries to enhance their technological knowledge and policy implementation capacity towards an advanced type of high-technology development.
