The Performance Management delegation of Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) visited Honduras from January 1, 2020 to August 8, 2020 for a survey on the on-site launch of ‘The Project for the effective use of ICT in education in Honduras“.

    

In order to strengthen ICT capabilities of Honduras teachers in 2020-2023, this project will carry out schedules such as 1) Training master and general teachers, 2) Invitation training program, 3) supplying ICT equipment.

      

Through this work, the KDS delegation has an interview with key officials from the government of Honduras (Ministry of Education) to accurately share the direction and contents of this project.     

The PMC-DGDP (Ministry of Education in Honduras) has signed a Minutes of Meeting for the refinement of future work plans, and the Joint Steering Committee and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) to promote effective and systematic work.   


In addition, the delegation visited school and classroom and tried to derive as accurate performance management plan through interview with teachers.

      

KDS aims to strengthen the capacity of ICT utilization of Honduras teachers for 2020-2023 and in order to achieve this goal, KDS will 1) conduct basic environmental analysis of education system in Honduras, 2) launch joint performance management seminar with Ministry of Education in Honduras, 3) final evaluation of this project.
