On December 1, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy(KDS) was selected as a family-friendly certified company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The Family-Friendly Certificates is awarded to companies and public institutions that run exemplary family-friendly programs such as support for child-birth and child-rearing, flexible working system, creation of family-friendly workplace culture, etc. through an examination conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The certification period is maintained for three years from December 1, 2021 to November 30, 2023.
The evaluation was conducted through a document review, an online satisfaction survey for employees, an on-site evaluation that included leadership of the top management and interviews with employees.
KDS actively supports the balance between work and family by implementing maternity leave, child-care leave, and staggered office hour, telecommuting system, family love day, and family medical checkup support.
KDS will continue its efforts to maintain a family-friendly certified company through continuous consulting and education so that employees can create a family-friendly workplace culture and harmonize work and family life.
