As part of ‘Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’, the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) conducted e-Government 3rd In-country Training at Public Service Institute of Nigeria(PSIN) in Nigeria, from July 19th to August 12th in 2016, with Korean experts in the fields of e-Government.

 

For the 3rd In-country Training, Federal Ministry of Communications (FMC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) actively cooperated with KOICA Nigeria office in conducting the training programme including five different courses of Executive I, Executive II, e-Security, Professional and Train the Trainers.

 

166 Nigerian policy-makers and executives in the e-Government sector participated in the 3rd In-country Training with high interests. Also, in the training, there were plenty of questions, answers and debates about the immediate application of the suggested e-Government system to Nigeria.

 

The 3rd In-country Training of this programme consists of five different courses (Executive I, Executive II, Professional, e-Security, Train the Trainers) and will be offered at five times by 2017. The next training will be conducted from January through February, 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria.

 

** Korea Institute for Developing Strategy(KDS) is conducting the ‘2013-2018 Capacity Building Programme for e-Government in Nigeria’ which was ordered by KOICA with the purpose of improving efficiency and transparency of public administration service in Nigeria on a budget of 8.56 million USD.
