Korea Institute for Development Strategy(KDS) visited Khartoum in Sudan under ‘the Project for the Capacity Enhancement of TVET in Khartoum Vocational Training Center(VTC).’ The Project was resumed in nearly six months after the postponement due to COVID-19 and the coup in Sudan.
Through this dispatch, KDS and local stakeholders conducted ▲preparation for the VTC’s renovation and provision of training equipment ▲curriculum and textbook development ▲operating system design ▲baseline survey for performance management.
KDS also contributed to strengthening the operating system and to increase employment rate and income creation for the graduates of the Khartoum VTC. By building a reliable partnership with local stakeholders, Korean experts communicate consistently with their counterparts to complete planned activities. Furthermore, KDS implemented the baseline survey and successfully established a cornerstone to achieving the expected outcome, ‘the improvement of educational quality in Khartoum VTC.’
