From May 25th to June 5th, was the Korea Development Institute for Strategic Studies (KDS) has carried out a high-level invitational training for the “Project Management Service for the Project Implementation of the e-People for a Public Participation and Fighting Corruption in Tunisia.”

This is KOICA’s project and this invitational training is organized by KDS. This high-level invitational training’s trainees included a total number of 7 trainees, including Mr. Kamel Ayadi, Minister of the Public Administration, Good-governance, Anti-corruption, and Khaled Sellami, Director of the e-government bureau under the ministry. Most of the trainees are the Task Force Team members who already were involved with the project, thus are familiar with this project.

We invited famous Korean e-government and administrative innovation specialists as lecturers, attempting to aim to nurture the capabilities of participants’ understanding of Korea’s administrative experience through various discussions, lectures, site visits etc, combining theory and practice.

The last day of lecture, trainees presented a final report on the basis of contents of training programs and their work experience in Tunisia, having in-depth discussion to realize a viable reform in public administration and e-people establishment plan.

In addition, KDS was to distribute self-developed survey of training results, measuring both quantitative and qualitative training results.

The result came out very successfully that most of trainees rated that all "very prominent" part of the overall process.

For sustainable effectiveness of the training program, we will carefully review the requests of the training trainees obtained through the evaluation questionnaire and apply the lesson-learned and challenges to the forthcoming training in July.
