Dr. Chun Seung-hun, the President of the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) will be listed in the 2019 edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World.
Having engaged in development policy at the Economic Planning Board (EPB) of Korea for three decades since 1973, he experienced Korea's development process at the forefront of Korea's economic development. From 1996 to 1997, he worked as an executive director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and from 2007 onward, he has been the President of the KDS, a private development consulting organization in Korea. In the meantime, he has been actively providing policy consultations to developing countries.
While he recently published an English book, "The Economic Development of South Korea: From Poverty to a Modern Industrial State (Routledge Publishing Company)", which contains a vivid story about Korea's leap into a modern industrial nation, he Is striving to spread the development experience of Korea in the world.
